Data Security & Privacy
What a public record shows
A verification record shows the issuing organisation, programme, issue date, optional expiry date and current certificate status. The holder’s name appears only when the issuer has enabled that visibility for the record.
Certificate PDF visibility
Public access to the PDF is a separate issuer setting and also requires holder-name visibility. Without those settings, visitors cannot retrieve the PDF from its public verification address.
Account and organisation information
Applications use your name, email and organisation details to create the account and support organisation review. Team permissions determine which organisation functions each signed-in user can access.
Participant and application documents
Participant email addresses and organisation application evidence are not displayed on the public certificate record. Access to these items is limited to the relevant authorised account or review functions.
Browser preferences and QR images
Cookie choices support your browsing preferences. The QR lookup tool decodes camera frames and selected images in your browser. Optional tracking depends on the preference you choose.
Questions, corrections and requests
For a correction to certificate content, contact the organisation that issued it. For questions about account information, public visibility, access or deletion, contact the VerifyInt team and explain the record or account involved. Do not send a password or unnecessary sensitive information.
